What are we painting?

A room-by-room checklist to help us protect your home and start painting on schedule.
Arrival time
Our crew typically arrives between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, unless otherwise scheduled.
Do I need to be home?
Not at all. You are welcome to be there, but it is fine to meet us at the start and finish. We are used to working while clients are away.
Have pets?
For their safety and ours, please keep pets out of the work area for the duration of the project.
Homeowner prep
Before the painters arrive
- Remove electronic blinds or shades. We do not handle or remove electrical equipment.
- Move furniture to the center of each room before we arrive.
- Pull out the refrigerator if we are painting behind or around it.
- Remove pictures, decorations, candles, and other items from the walls. Taking a quick photo first can help you remember where everything belongs.
- Wipe down walls and trim to remove dust, cobwebs, and grime.
- Remove any nails or screws you want us to patch. We will fill and paint those holes. If they remain, we will paint around them.
If you need help moving large furniture, refrigerators, or pianos, our crew can assist. An hourly fee will be added based on the time required. Right Touch Painting is not liable for damage that occurs during moving.

- Complete any necessary surface preparation
Completing the job
When painting is complete
- Leave the space as tidy as possible
- Leave any remaining paint with you for future touch-ups
- Coordinate a final walkthrough and collect payment if needed
Payment
Payment is due within 24 hours of project completion. We accept cash, check, or card.
