The prep that decides how long it lasts
Anyone can put color on a surface. How well a finish holds up comes down to the prep that happens before the first coat.
- Cut out failed material back to solid drywall and sound framing
- Tape and finish in multiple thin coats rather than one heavy one
- Match the existing texture, knockdown, orange peel, skip trowel or smooth
- Prime every repair before finish coats so the patch does not flash
What we put on your home
We specify per surface, not one product for the whole property.
- Setting-type compound on structural and deep repairs, lightweight for finishing
- Mesh or paper tape depending on the crack type
- Texture sprayers and hoppers to match the original pattern
- Drywall-specific primer to even out porosity across patch and old wall
