Repair before paint
Drywall damage, popped nails, hairline cracks and old patch work get fixed and sanded flat first. Paint does not hide a bad wall — it highlights it.
Coats decided by the colour change
Going lighter over a dark wall, or covering a strong colour, takes more than two coats. We spec what the change actually needs rather than defaulting to two.
Trim gets its own treatment
Trim, baseboards and doors are sanded, caulked and finished in a harder enamel than the walls so they take knocks and cleaning without marking.
Living in it while we work
Most interiors are done in occupied homes. We stage the work room by room, contain dust and keep a clear path through the house.

How much does it cost to paint the interior of a house in Denver?
It comes down to square footage, ceiling height, how many colours you want, and how much drywall repair and caulking is needed before painting. We measure the actual rooms and give you a written price rather than a rate over the phone.
Do I need to move my furniture?
No. We move furniture to the centre of the room and cover it. If there is anything fragile or valuable, tell us up front and we will work out where it should go before the day.
How long should I wait before hanging pictures back up?
The surface is dry to touch quickly, but latex paint keeps curing for a couple of weeks. Light re-hanging after a few days is fine; avoid scrubbing or taping the fresh surface for two weeks.
Do you use low-VOC paint?
Yes, that is what we default to for interiors. Low-VOC and zero-VOC products keep the smell down so the room is usable again quickly, which matters in an occupied house.
Can you paint one room instead of the whole house?
Yes. Single rooms, accent walls, a stairwell, or a full-house repaint — all fine. Smaller jobs are scheduled the same way, with the same prep.
How many coats will my walls get?
Two is typical over a similar colour on a sound wall. Big colour changes, patched drywall or bare surfaces get a primer plus two finish coats. The scope states it before the work starts.
