How the work is done

Wash and scrape first
Coating over chalked, dirty or loose paint is why exteriors fail early. Everything is washed and scraped back to a sound surface before priming.
Stucco and masonry are their own job
Cracks get filled and sealed and the surface gets a breathable coating suited to masonry, not the same product used on wood siding.
Painted in the right conditions
Coatings have temperature and dew-point windows. In Colorado that means watching afternoon storms and overnight lows and scheduling coats around them.
Sun exposure drives the spec
South and west elevations take the worst UV load at this altitude. Those faces get the attention and product choice that reflects how much harder they work.

How often should a house be repainted in Colorado?
Front Range sun, dry air and freeze-thaw are hard on coatings. Wood siding commonly needs attention every five to seven years, stucco can go longer, and south and west elevations always go first.
What time of year can exteriors be painted here?
Roughly spring through autumn, whenever daytime and overnight temperatures stay inside the product's range and there is a dry window. Late-season work is possible on the right stretch of weather.
Do you pressure wash before painting?
The surface is always washed first. Pressure is dialled to the substrate — high pressure on old wood siding or soft stucco does damage, so it is matched to what is being cleaned.
Can you paint stucco?
Yes. Stucco is prepped by filling and sealing cracks, then coated with a breathable masonry product so moisture can still escape the wall assembly.
What happens if you find rotten wood?
We show you before we paint over anything. Damaged trim, fascia or siding needs replacing first — coating rot just hides it for one season.
Do you stain decks and fences too?
Yes. Deck and fence staining is part of what we do, and it is usually cleaned, sanded where needed and stained rather than painted so the timber can still move.
